West Austin Dance is Bee Cave’s home for dancers ages 2 to 18, from a toddler’s first class to college dance teams. Every dancer has a place to grow, a stage to shine and a team to support them along the way.
Amy is a fourth-generation studio owner. Her family’s studio in East Texas is going into its 71st year, so dance education runs deep. A graduate of Oklahoma City University’s dance department, she performed professionally for over 15 years, including starring as Cinderella in the national tour of Cinderella and performing in regional and national theater as Cha-Cha in Grease, Charity in Anything Goes and dance captain of Rags. She has also judged top national competitions and directed elite teams.
Her dancers have gone on to become drill team captains, perform with major artists, appear in national commercials, join college dance programs and sign with leading agencies in Los Angeles and New York.
At WADA, Amy combines that legacy with fresh, commercial-based training, and a belief that every dancer is capable of something extraordinary.
Strong, clean technique is the foundation for everything else.
Dancers who believe in themselves, on stage and off.
We lift each other up. Every single time.
Technique first, then style that’s all their own.
A studio home for dancers and parents alike.
